Bought these for coastal walking and spotting seals. The 12x magnification is spot on, and the wide angle means I don't lose sight of the boats easily. Exceptional value compared to the big names.
I've struggled with eye strain using smaller binoculars, but the large eyepieces on this Militnipon pair are a revelation. Much more comfortable for an hour in the bird hide.
Very clear, bright optics even on a dull Norfolk afternoon. They are a little on the heavy side at over 800g, but you expect that with proper 50mm glass. Good solid build.
Fantastic long distance binoculars. I use them for scanning the hills for deer. The BAK-4 prisms really do make a difference to the sharpness at the edges of the image.
